Account Services Representative

TMLT is seeking an account services representative to be responsible for managing designated TMLT group accounts with emphasis on relationship building and retention.


  • Acts as a primary resource for servicing designated group accounts.
  • Assists in development of strategic plan to service group accounts.
  • Compiles information during new and renewal business visits on each group’s risk, as well as activity in the community and relays information to underwriting.
  • Identifies opportunities for group accounts including coverage needs and risk management services.
  • Acts as liaison with other departments and appointed agents specific to communication issues or problems and resource needs of group accounts.

This is an Austin based position. A significant amount of time spent traveling (60%), including overnight stays of up to three nights a month is required. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon satisfactory completion of a background and driving record verification

Requirements - Education/Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of insurance specifics, issues and practices.
  • Highly articulate with effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Ability to provide information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Solid presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MicroSoft applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • A minimum of three years in the property and casualty insurance industry preferred. Medical malpractice insurance experience preferred.
  • Must obtain Texas Department of Insurance General Lines Agent License within six months of employment and is responsible for maintaining license requirements.
