Description

The National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) has been in operation for 25 years, but there are still some important questions about how it actually works, and how professionals in the healthcare community can best interact with it. The speakers will provide the latest essential information about the activities of the NPDB, highlighting its specific interactions with the MPL insurance community. In particular, they will talk about the changes stemming from the release of the updated NPDB User Guide. They will also explain the several areas in the Guide that fail to provide clear information on the reporting responsibilities of MPL insurers—and how insurers should respond in light of this lack of clarity.
