Job Description
We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to handle the design of all corporate materials and assist in developing, coordinating, and executing marketing campaigns for the group of companies. The primary responsibilities of the position are to support the marketing, business development and underwriting teams to achieve organization sales and marketing goals and expectations. The position requires performing marketing and design tasks also supporting the Management Team, Risk Management, Finance, and Claims departments. This position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer in our Glastonbury, CT home office.
Responsibilities
Marketing
- Designs/maintains Company marketing and business collaterals, including advertisements, brochures, and branded merchandise
- Coordinating the artwork and layout for the Annual Report
- Designs, maintains and edits all corporate branded materials
- Working with Underwriting, completes the branding and editing of all policy forms, applications and ISI system document templates
- Responsible for managing Company logos, logo treatments, and all usages, internal and external
- Updates/enhances Company website(s) and implements improvements as needed
- Designs and distributes Company eBlasts and maintains contact list(s)
- Research, select, and order branded merchandise, and manages inventory/reorders as needed
- Oversees day-to-day of Google Ads campaigns, analyzing and tracking results and providing reports and updates as necessary
General
- Monitor MPL Industry and competitor news and information
- Assist in maintaining and updating the Team Profiles on the ADP employee portal
- Maintain and manage the company LinkedIn page including any postings
Support of Company Operations
- Assisting the Management Team with Power Point presentations or any branded documents
- Assists other departments with advertising initiatives including graphic design, formatting reports and presentations, and other ad hoc assistance
- Coordinates with Member and Producer Portal vendor on updates and enhancements
- Distributes select policyholder materials, such as the annual distribution of Legacy Rewards balances, retirement boxes, etc.
- Providing feedback on and supporting implementation of corporate initiatives
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5+ years of relevant marketing experience
- 3-5 years of Graphic Design experience required including HTML
- Proficiency with e-newsletter platforms, such as Constant Contact
- Proficiency with Google Ads campaigns/platform
- Competent at using MS Office suite of products
- Ability to meet deadlines while managing an active and diverse workload
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Travel possible to various locations is required (Up to 10%). Must have reliable transportation.
Location
The Company currently follows a hybrid office/remote work schedule:
- Tuesday-Thursday – In office, Glastonbury, CT
- Monday and Friday – Option to work remotely (following completion of introductory period)
The position requires attendance at marketing events, as detailed above.
