Description

Election Day is rapidly approaching, which means it’s time to start strategizing for the public policy environment we’ll face in 2025, whatever that may look like. Who will control the White House? Which party will run the U.S. House of Representatives? While it is likely that the federal government will remain nearly evenly divided, who actually leads the executive and legislative branches will still have a significant impact on the policy objectives the government pursues (even if those policies cannot be achieved). Closer to home, will any states see a change in partisan control? While few, if any, dramatic changes are likely, some legislatures (and one governor) may flip, leading to new opportunities to improve or significantly worsen the liability environment in those venues.

This webinar will answer all of the above questions, and more, as government relations experts Anne Bryant and Mike Stinson take you on a whirlwind tour of the 2024 election results and what that may mean for MPL stakeholders.
